2019 New Years Resolutions

Hey Everyone, Happy New Year!

I am so excited for the new year, and as silly as it is, I love the fresh start that the new year brings. I also get to set my new years resolutions, which is great, because it inspires me to try new things and challenge myself.

Because I am a massive nerd, I like to break my resolutions up into categories, goals, resolutions and priorities, which I think helps me to have an overview of my year.

So, without further ado, here are my new years resolutions.

I want to really focus on going green

I have made some initial steps towards becoming more environmentally friendly, I really want to integrate more ways to be green into my life.

Prioritise travel and experiences over things

I want to experience as many places as possible, and I want to make a conscious effort to spend my money on experiences and not things.

Stop apologising

I apologise for everything, I apologise when someone bumps into me! I would love to stop apologising for things that don’t require apologies. Because apologising for my own existence is exhausting.

Health and Wellness

Nothing is as good if you’re not feeling healthy.

My Family and Friends

They are the most important people in my life, and I want to give them more time.

Save Money, and buy consciously

I want to save my money and  become a more conscious consumer, especially around fast fashion. I also would love to buy a car!

I want to write a book

I have a tiny sliver of a book, but I would love to finish (at least the first draft) of my book, just so I could say that I did it.

Learn two new skills

I want to expand my horizons and learn cool new things.

Get a Dog

It’s happening.

What are your goals and resolutions for 2019?

  1. No resolutions here, really.
You have some good ones over there. The financial ones are smart.
And the book one is great. I wrote my first full draft of a novel in November, so I definitely want to progress with it. It’s really exciting.
